so, while the thud chat is down, floris and i have decided that it would be nice to have a temporary chat where we can go. of course, playing won't work there, but you can still chat to the people 
there are two possibilites: either you go here. simply enter your thud nick (if it's long it might not work, so you'd best use an abbreviation then) and where it asks you for the room, enter thud (no capitals). you won't need a password, but the chat window will be pretty narrow, which might be a bit annoying.
or you go here. there you will need to enter a password, but the chat windows is much broader.
