Announcement: ThudBoard version 1.6

Bronze Member

Hiyall,

Version 1.3 is released.

This one is known as the 'comments-bugfix'-release... it solves a problem with saving high-ascii characters in comments. The official list reads:

  1. Comments containing high-ascii or other weird characters now get saved correctly instead of crashing the program (exiting with an exception, but still, sort-of a crash).
    reported by Erik Nilsen Haga
  2. From this release onwards, Python 2.3 is required and earlier versions of Python won't work.

You can download it from http://www.million.nl/thudboard .
Any feedback is appreciated, as always.

Happy Thudding and ThudBoarding,

Marc Boeren

Hiyall,

Version 1.4 is released.

This one is known as the 'Koom Valley'-release... you can now move the Rock around, and there is a board-setup savegame included in the 'koomvalley' folder.

You can download it from http://www.million.nl/thudboard .
Any feedback is appreciated, as always.

Hiyall,

Version 1.5 is released.

This one is known as the 'There's More Than Koom Valley'-release... loading old savegames made the Rock disappear in version 1.4, that's fixed now.

You can download it from http://www.million.nl/thudboard .
Any feedback is appreciated, as always.

Happy Thudding and ThudBoarding,

nice - almost half of us are away from the blood-sucking windows monster of doom Very Happy

mind you, I guess it's not really a huge sample - I can't rejoice at the upsurge in support for alternative OSs too soon Wink

I don't really care (I use either), but it may be that the numbers are a bit off, since WIndows-users might download the source as well, while Linux/*BSD users probably won't download the Windows version Smile
